The Department of Economic Security has a Division of Aging and Adult Services. They provide services for at risk Arizonans to meet basic needs. There are Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) that provide help with daily activities while allowing many individuals to live at home or with family members. You must be 60 years or older or 18-60 with a disability. You must have functional impairments and unable to preform activities of daily living. Did you know there is Arizona Long Term Care System for elderly and physically disabled? The Arizona Long Term Care System is health insurance for individuals who are age 65 or older, or who have a disability, and who require nursing facility level of care. Services may be provided in an institution or in a home or community-based setting.
